UHY was recently named one of the 2026 Best Places to Work in New York City, an awards program run by Crain's New York Business to recognize the top 100 employers in the city.
A survey of 5,469 employees at this year's recognized companies shows what that commitment can achieve: Overall engagement reached 90.7%, while 94.2% of respondents said they were willing to give extra effort. Relationships with supervisors earned the highest category score, at 93%, reinforcing the importance of strong day-to-day leadership.The results capture both the strengths of New York City’s leading workplaces and the challenges they continue to face as they seek to attract, support and retain employees in an expensive metropolitan area.
