LORRAINE BARTON

Lorraine A. Barton is a Managing Director with more than 25 years of experience providing business valuation, forensic accounting, litigation support, and financial consulting services to attorneys, accountants, business owners, and other advisors. She provides valuation and litigation support services to closely held businesses for matters involving divorce and shareholder disputes, estate and gift tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, buy-sell agreements, corporate reorganizations, and commercial damages. 

Lorraine has extensive experience in matrimonial finance, including business valuation, asset tracing, income determination, lifestyle analysis, forensic examinations, and expert testimony, and she also serves as a financial neutral in collaborative divorce matters. Prior to joining UHY through its acquisition of Advent Valuation Advisors, LLC, where she was a Partner, Lorraine held roles in restructuring and financial advisory firms as well as controller and CFO positions in private industry, providing her with a broad perspective on complex accounting and financial matters. She also brings significant experience in transaction-related financial consulting for buyers and sellers and in quantifying economic losses arising from breach of contract and other commercial disputes.
